ABCD Chemoinformatics: Integrating Chemoinformatics Tools into Everyday Drug Discovery Practice
Victor Lobanov, PhD, Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development LLC, 665 Stockton Dr., Exton, PA 19341, USA
By unifying chemical and biological data across multiple continents, data systems and cultures, Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development, L.L.C.'s multidisciplinary ABCD drug discovery informatics platform aims at providing scientists access to a wealth of information as well as the analysis tools to enable better decision making. An integral part of the ABCD informatics platform is a set of state-of-the-art chemoinformatics tools that scientists have access to via the client desktop application developed in house. A tight integration of data access and data analysis plus a straightforward user interface provide a winning formula for a broad adoption of the chemoinformatics tools by the bench scientists.
