| Gene Odle, Founder, eValueDrugs |
|
Gene Odle has over 12 years of experience in the CRO industry where he has held senior roles at Covance and Quintiles. Through working closely with senior and top management in the pharmaceutical industry, he has gained a broad overview of the drug development process and a strong understanding of the many pain points and issues that are the root cause of the exploding costs and time the industry is facing today.
Gene Odle is founder of eValueDrugs, a startup company that with an “Out-of-the-Box” and Forward Thinking approach is using the latest technologies to create innovative solutions for dramatically reducing costs and time by simplifying the overall drug development process while enhancing Knowledge Sharing across the entire Life Sciences area to provide actionable knowledge and invaluable insight. The long-term vision is the current paradigm shift from “treating disease” to “managing wellbeing” where the future focus will be personalized medicine which requires a far-reaching integration and sharing of the ever-increasing knowledge of Life Sciences.
He obtained his Masters of Science (Drs) degree in Chemistry with a major in Biochemistry in 1989 at Leiden University. He started his career as a Patent Attorney with DSM and entered the drug development business at SmithKline Beecham in 1993.
