What is the "Integrating Knowledge in the Life Science Product Life Cycle" Conference?
This ongoing conference examines and explores the state of progressive knowledge-based strategies, tools and practices in the pharma and biotech industries within the context of product research, development, manufacturing, and marketing. Knowledge needs to be effectively used in all the stages and processes of a product's life cycle to address business strategies, enhance collaborative efforts, and make intellectual use of data and information acquired from established databases and in the laboratory setting. Knowledge originates from diverse sources at different times in a product life cycle and so knowledge management efforts must satisfy current and anticipate future regulatory and legal constraints. This conference takes an interdisciplinary approach to determining the current best business strategies, knowledge management practices and supporting solutions that enable innovation, effectiveness and success in the competitive market.

This project aims to
• enhance and support knowledge exchange and best practice
• act as a source of new ideas and opportunities
• create networking opportunities for individuals and companies
• provide leading edge news, research findings and expertise

What are InterAction Meetings?
InterAction meetings are held periodically to give InnovationWell members and new participants a chance to meet face-to-face for further exploration and discussion of specific issues driven by a problem-solving agenda, including generic case studies, customer-supplied issues, strategies, integrative approaches etc.

Presentation and seminar materials are also usually made available on the website. Significant time at the meetings are used for in-depth discussions and individual networking. Presentations given at the meeting are kept relatively short to provide a starting point for panel discussions and break-out sessions and concentrate on the main points of view, key ideas, proposals or findings.

As the presentation materials are usually also made available on the website, community members who are unable to attend in person can also review them and post questions and comments.
