InterAction Meeting in Philadelphia (14-17 October 2008)
The InterAction meeting will be held on the picturesque campus of Bryn Mawr College (http://www.brynmawr.edu/) in the quiet suburban town of Bryn Mawr (Montgomery County) 9 miles west of Philadelphia. The academic atmosphere of this beautiful green campus with its Gothic buildings provides a relaxed environment for intellectual exchange, learning and getting to know your peers. Coffee breaks, lunches and evening meals and social events will all be held on the college campus.

We are pleased to host our community of practice meetings at a college that has taken a leading role in furthering women's and minority education, that granted the first PhD to a woman in the US, and that is dedicated in its mission to the pursuit of knowledge, sustainable community, and learning though research, conversation and collaboration.

Directions to Bryn Mawr can be found at http://www.brynmawr.edu/visit/map_directions.shtml A campus map can be downloaded from http://www.brynmawr.edu/visit/Map_printerfriendly.pdf. As the meeting is being held during Autumn break, attendees with cars may use suitable free car spaces available in the campus car parks. The campus is a five-minute walk from the Bryn Mawr train station which connects directly via a 20 minute train ride with the 30th Street Station in downtown Philadelphia and from there to Philadelphia's International Airport.

The Registration & Information Desk for the meeting is located in the Thomas Great Hall, Thomas Library Bldg.

Accommodation
Participants should make their own overnight accommodation arrangements at one of the local hotels (see list at at http://www.brynmawr.edu/visit/accommodations.shtml.) The Radnor Hotel (591 East Lancaster Avenue, St. David's, Tel: 610-688-5800, http://www.radnorhotel.com/) is 3 miles from campus.
